Mushroom Dip

2-T butter
1-lb sliced mushrooms
1-large onion
1-1/2 cup mayonaise
10-strips of bacon cooked and crumbled
1/4 t of salt
1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
Saute mushrooms in butter
Mix mayonaise and crumbled bacon
Mix all together and sprinkle with cheese
bake 25 minutes
350 degrees
Serve with cocktail rye bread
